Job Description


Emerge is looking for candidates who will be working with European consulting firm as a Technical Leader.

Technical Leader (TL) will be the point of contact for technical escalation and consultation within a product support team. TL provides technical guidance to the team for product support.

  • Good Understanding and hands-on SR Cycle
  • Handle and take ownership of complex and aged Service request that required high technical expertise
  • Assist engineers on Service Requests and coordinating war rooms for discussing cases as required
  • Responsible for evaluating any new troubleshooting techniques
  • Identify and provide/deliver Technical Training to team
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders in the Design team to allow smooth, efficient and positive working relationships
  • Assist Team Manager in reviewing the team performance and improvement plan if any
  • Assist Team Manager in reviewing the case and backlog management of the team and suggest methods of improvement in SR handling and delivery to meet the SLA target
  • Audit Service Requests worked upon by the team, and provide technical analysis and improvement feedback to the Manager who will pass it on to the specific engineer
  • Lead and participate in special projects that are assigned to the team
  • Actively work along with the management team as a consultant to identify, analyze and finalize the equipment, devices and study material needed for production, training and certification programs, to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist the management team in technical evaluations in the recruitment process for the team


  • Carrier Ethernet: Services like E-LINE, E-LAN, E-TREE, VLAN (802.1Q, QinQ, 802.1ah, 802.1ay), Ethernet Ring Protection (G.8032), RPR, STP, RSTP, MSTP, MPLS-TP, Pseudo wire, QoS & Traffic Engineering CFM, OAM, Y.1731, RFC 2544, Sync-E
  • Understanding of NMS/EMS architecture, OSS Integration
  • Fluent in the Japanese language
  • Should be able to articulate technical issues / solutions to internal / external customers
  • Accountable and open to constructive feedback
  • Should identify and arrange trainings required for team members
  • Demonstrate best practices in customer facing and interpersonal communications skills
  • Have a working knowledge of communications with email, telephone, wireless devices, text messaging and PC based Windows/Microsoft software applications suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
